My name is Ananya and I’m a sophomore at Claremont McKenna, where I’m studying chemistry and economics with a concentration in public health. I play softball for CMC (sco ‘Nas) and love the active culture of the school. I love working with kids, and I’m part of a couple different mentorship programs within the 5C’s and the Claremont area. I joined the 5C EMS club my freshman year, and it’s been great to see the club grow so much over the past couple of years. Within the club, I’m really interested in educational outreach initiatives and ways to bring public health and first aid knowledge to the broader 5C community. I’m currently heading a project to develop a virtual tutoring program for families and children affected by COVID-19. The program is open to all ages (K-12) and all subject areas for students who want to get ahead with one of our incredible tutors! In my free time on campus, you can find me sitting outside the Hub or at one of the dining halls - anywhere with easily accessible snacks. I also love finding new music and scrolling through Pinterest when I’m bored. If you have any questions about the club or want to get involved, feel free to reach out!
